Chords
Ropes And Gasket
These are made out of continuous and Texturised Glass fiber yarns
and are available upto max. diameter of 30 mm. These chords, ropes,
and gaskets unlike Asbestos do not absorb moisture, soil or disintegrate
even in sea water and can be removed and reused, even at a temperature
of 300 0c Performance is comparable with Asbestos upto a temp
of 5500c.
These are widely used for airtight (high temperature) sealing
applications, windings over hot fluid ductwork, boilers and furnace
doors.
